2. Ensure your cat’s vaccinations are up to date before travel
3. Arrange the required veterinary paperwork before departure
4. Book an export health certificate appointment with an Official Veterinarian
5. Check whether your arrival state has any additional import requirements
6. Book your cat’s flight with an approved airline and route
7. Arrange customs clearance for arrival in the United States
8. Make sure your cat’s paperwork, vaccination records and microchip details all match
Unfortunately, the USA doesn’t have a single set of rules that applies to every journey, meaning requirements vary depending on your cat’s travel history and where in America you are moving to.
