What Do I Need to Do Before Flying My Cat to New Zealand?
1. Get your cat microchipped
2. Vaccinate your cat against rabies at least six months before travel
3. Pass a rabies antibody blood test at least three months before travel
4. Apply for an import permit from MPI
5. Obtain a DEFRA export health certificate
6. Book a quarantine space in Auckland or Christchurch
